SANAA, July 11 (YPA) – Hizam al-Assad, a member of Ansarallah’s Political Bureau, has reaffirmed on Saturday the continuation of civilian flights between Sanaa and Tehran, while accusing Saudi Arabia of undermining prospects for peace.
In a post on X, he said that civilian flights between Sanaa and Tehran “will continue even if it requires paralyzing all Saudi airports,” in a challenge to the Saudi-imposed restrictions on Sanaa International Airport.
For his part, the bureau’s member Ali al-Qahoum accused, in a separate statement, Riyadh of closing the doors to peace arguing that its continued military policies demonstrate that the roots of Yemen’s crisis lie outside the country rather than internally.
He urged Yemenis to remain vigilant against misleading media campaigns and called on the public to maintain unity and resilience in confronting the foreign aggression and occupation.
