IRGC: Any American adventure in Hormuz will be met with decisive response

TEHRAN, July 09 (YPA) – Iranian media and television reported on Thursday that the first phase of the punitive response by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army destroyed the infrastructure of US bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar using ballistic missiles and drones, establishing a new equation in the region.

Sources announced the targeting of US vessels off the coast of Bahrain with cruise missiles, resulting in hits on a destroyer and other ships, while “Kheibar Shekan” missiles were utilized to destroy US bases in West Asia.

Meanwhile, the “Mehr News Agency” denied the occurrence of any security incidents in Shiraz, characterizing the reports as “psychological warfare.”

Concurrently, the IRGC Navy emphasized the mandatory passage of international vessels through the Iranian route in the Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, stressing that any American adventure to designate transit routes would be met with a decisive response and would place the interests of beneficiary nations in real danger.
