BEIRUT, July 04 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continued its aggression against Lebanese territory on Saturday, despite talk of a framework agreement signed between Tel Aviv and Beirut.
Lebanese media reported that Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on the vicinity of the Ali al-Taher heights in southern Lebanon.
The strike targeted the area between Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Kfar Tebnit, as explosions were heard around the targeted area.
No official statement was issued immediately following the incident.
In a separate development, Israeli forces also opened heavy machine-gun fire early on Saturday toward the towns of Hadatha, Beit Yahoun, Kounine, al-Tiri and Kfar Tibnit.
The strike comes amid ongoing Israeli violations of Lebanese territory despite efforts to uphold a ceasefire.
