Hezbollah affirms readiness to reach national understanding that guarantees security, stability of Lebanon

BEIRUT, June 19 (YPA) – The head of the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, MP Mohammad Raad, called on the Lebanese authority to conduct a precise and objective reading of the Iranian-US understanding document to end the state of war, cautioning against underestimating Iran’s ability to deter the “Zionist enemy” should the agreement be breached.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Raad pointed out that the timeline for the Israel occupation’s withdrawal spans 60 days, during which all hostile acts must completely cease alongside a withdrawal without direct negotiation.

He affirmed the possibility of establishing a track based on indirect negotiations to reactivate the armistice agreement in accordance with constitutional and national pact frameworks, while warning against any direct involvement in targeting the Resistance.

While emphasizing the failure of the Israeli enemy’s propaganda regarding the targeting of the resistance, Raad stressed the resistance’s openness to an internal national understanding that ensures security, stability, and preserves sovereignty

Raad concluded by asserting that the resistance will not abandon its options under threat or respond to the dictates of the enemy and its allies, calling for a national stance that confronts pressures and does not slide into acquiescence.
