Israeli enemy army patrol penetrates Daraa countryside in Syria, arrests shepherd

DAMASCUS, June 19 (YPA) – An Israeli patrol with military vehicles infiltrated, on Friday morning, between the villages of Al-Arda and Ma’ariya in western Daraa countryside, and arrested a shepherd before releasing him in the evening after questioning him.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the incident was part of repeated Israeli movements on the borders of the occupied Golan Heights, where it documented similar detentions of shepherds and civilians in the Daraa and Quneitra countryside.

On June 9, Israel arrested a young man from the vicinity of the Umm al-Luqs farm in the Quneitra countryside.
