Death toll of ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon rises to 3,884

BEIRUT, June 17 (YPA) – The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression against Lebanon has risen to 3,884, with 11,856 wounded, since the escalation began on March 2nd.

In its daily report, the mministry reported that 86 people were killed and 58 others wounded in the past 24 hours.

The report clarified that the number of dead and wounded among healthcare workers reached 133 dead and 402 wounded, as a result of 172 attacks targeting ambulances and medical teams by the Israeli army.

Since March 2nd, the Israeli army has intensified its attacks on Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian infrastructure, causing the deaths of hundreds, the wounding of thousands, and the displacement of approximately 1.5 million citizens, most of whom are not registered in shelters.

The temporary ceasefire agreement came into effect in mid-April, but the Israeli army continues to commit daily violations of the agreement, according to the ministry.
