Fuel crisis hits Taiz city

TAIZ, June 16 (YPA) – The city of Taiz is experiencing a severe petroleum product crisis on Tuesday, following a total depletion of gasoline supplies and the closure of gas stations to citizens.

Local sources reported that areas under the control of the Islah Party and the Saudi-backed authorities in Taiz are seeing long queues of vehicles and crowded crowds of citizens outside stations searching for gasoline.

This crisis comes amid repeated complaints of supply shortages, with sources attributing the cause to the non-arrival of sufficient quantities of fuel compared to the governorate’s actual needs.
