Al-Quds Brigades claims responsibility for detonating explosive device targeting Zionist patrol in Jenin

JENIN, June 11 (YPA) – The Jenin Battalion of Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, claimed responsibility for detonating an explosive device that targeted an Israeli patrol this morning, Thursday, in Jenin, in the northern West Bank.

In a statement, the Brigades confirmed that the engineering unit detonated the pre-planted device with a mechanical detonator and achieved confirmed casualties among the occupation army.

It explained that the operation comes within new field tactics adopted by the resistance to confront the escalation of the occupation and its attacks.

Previously, Hebrew media had reported that an Israeli officer and soldier were wounded as a result of an explosive device targeting a military force in the Al-Jabriyat neighborhood on the outskirts of Jenin.
