Security forces in Jawf eliminate dangerous bandit gang, securing desert road

JAWF, June 06 (YPA) – The security authorities in Jawf Governorate announced the neutralization of a dangerous criminal gang involved in banditry, highway robbery, and the plundering of travelers on the desert road connecting Jawf and Marib governorates, following a specialized and well-coordinated security operation.

The Security Directorate of Jawf Governorate explained that the operation was executed based on a precise security plan to track and surround the gang.

The Directorate noted that the ensuing confrontation resulted in the killing of two gang members and the injury of a third, who was subsequently detained, after they opened fire on security personnel.

The security authorities confirmed the success of the operation in fully securing the desert road, emphasizing the continuation of their efforts to enhance security and stability, and to protect citizens and their property.
