Lebanon death toll rises to 3,558 since latest Israeli offensives

BEIRUT, June 05 (YPA) – The Lebanese Ministry of Health declared on Friday that the cumulative toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression has risen to 3,558 dead and 10,870 injured since March 2.

According to the ministry’s daily report, 32 people were killed and 137 others wounded during the past 24 hours alone.

The report added that 129 healthcare workers have been killed and 379 injured in 163 attacks targeting ambulance teams and medical personnel.

It also stated that 17 hospitals have sustained damage during the hostilities, while three hospitals have been forced to cease operations.

The escalation has caused widespread destruction across southern Lebanon and other areas, resulting in significant civilian casualties and the displacement of large numbers of residents despite the ceasefire agreement that entered into force in mid-April.
