Hamas calls for urgent international action to stop “settler terrorism” in occupied West Bank

GAZA, June 05 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has called for urgent international action to halt the escalating crimes and “settler terrorism” in the occupied West Bank.

In a statement on Thursday, Hamas official Mahmoud Mardawi said the recent attacks, including arson against farmland and destruction of property, are part of Israel’s continuing genocide against Palestinians and its efforts to impose settlement expansion through forced displacement plans.

“Settlers are practicing organized terrorism across the West Bank, with the complicity of the extremist Israeli government, which provides full protection for murder, arson, destruction and intimidation against Palestinians and their property,” he said.

He called on Palestinians to intensify confrontation, activate all means of protection against settler attacks, and support villages and towns facing repeated assaults.
