8 citizens killed, 17 others injured in Israeli enemy raids on Lebanon

BEIRUT, June 04 (YPA) – Eight Lebanese were martyred and 17 others were wounded on Thursday in a series of raids launched by the Israeli enemy on areas in southern Lebanon and in the Bekaa Valley, continuing its daily violations of the ceasefire agreement signed in mid-April.

The National News Agency reported that the raid on the town of Abbasiyeh in the Tyre district resulted in three martyrs, while another raid on Sahmar in the Western Bekaa resulted in five martyrs and four wounded.

In addition, an enemy drone targeted the Al-Mashatel area in Watta Abba, between Abba and Al-Duwayr, with two raids, wounding four people, including two Syrians and two Bangladeshis.

Moreover, the enemy’s warplanes launched a raid on Jebchit, and the enemy carried out a large explosion in Arnoun.

Another drone also targeted the town of Toul, wounding one person, while eight people were wounded, and the Sayyida Zahraa Hall and the prayer hall were destroyed in Harouf.

Since March 2nd, the occupation has continued to escalate its aggression against Lebanese towns and villages, causing hundreds of martyrs, thousands of wounded, and the displacement of approximately 1.5 million citizens, most of whom are outside shelters.
