IOWA, June 02 (YPA) – US police announced that six people were killed in a series of shooting incidents across the city of Muscatine, Iowa.
The gunman, identified as 52-year-old Ryan Willis McFarland, carried out the attacks following a family dispute before later committing suicide.
Authorities stated that preliminary investigations suggest all victims were likely members of the suspect’s family. Four bodies were discovered inside a residence, while two others were found at separate locations, including a neighboring home and a commercial business.
Police confirmed they located the suspect near the city’s riverfront, where he turned the gun on himself while speaking with officers.
