Israeli airstrikes target multiple areas in Lebanon

BEIRUT, May 27 (YPA) – Lebanese sources reported on Wednesday that Israeli occupation’s warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes targeting multiple areas in the Bekaa Valley and southern Lebanon.

According to preliminary reports, the strikes targeted the town of Jibshit in southern Lebanon, the Jurd Budai area in eastern Lebanon, and the town of Flawiyeh in the Baalbek district of the Bekaa region.

The aircraft also launched an airstrike on the town of Tafahata in the Sidon district of southern Lebanon.

The attacks come amid continuing escalation in Israeli military operations and bombardment of areas near the Lebanese border.
