Hezbollah targets two Israeli Merkava tanks

BEIRUT, May 27 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Hezbollah declared on Wednesday that its fighters targeted two “Merkava” tanks belonging to the Israeli occupation army in the eastern sector of the town of Eastern Zoutar in southern Lebanon.

In a brief statement, the resistance said the two tanks were struck with guided missiles, resulting in what it described as confirmed direct hits and casualties.

The operation was carried out as part of efforts to confront Israeli incursion attempts and respond to the ongoing attacks on Lebanese towns and villages.
