Gaza Media Office: Over 3,000 Israeli ceasefire violations recorded in 227 days

GAZA, May 27 (YPA) – The Gaza-based Government Media Office stated that Israeli occupation forces have committed 3,005 violations and serious breaches of the ceasefire agreement since it came into effect 227 days ago.

In a report issued on Wednesday, the office said the violations included airstrikes, direct attacks on civilians, the destruction of entire residential blocks, repeated shootings, and incursions into populated areas.

According to the report, these violations resulted in the killing of 910 Palestinians, the injury of 2,747 others with varying degrees of wounds, and the detention or abduction of 82 civilians by the occupation forces.

On the humanitarian level, the office noted that only 49,973 aid trucks had entered the Gaza Strip out of the 135,600 trucks that were expected under the agreement, representing a compliance rate of just 36 percent.

It also stated that only 5,636 travelers were allowed to leave Gaza out of 17,000 registered passengers, reflecting the continued restrictions and obstruction of humanitarian movement and civilian mobility.
