Gaza: Death toll from Israeli genocide rises to 72,803 since October 2023

GAZA, May 27 (YPA) – The death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which started on October 7, 2023, has surged to 72,803 martyrs, according to the health ministry on Tuesday morning.

In its daily reported, the ministry said that the total number of the wounded also surged to 172,855 people.

The ministry added that hospitals received six civilian bodies and 34 wounded people over the past 24 hours.

Since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10, 2025, at least 906 Palestinians have been killed, and 2,747 others have been injured, according to the report.

The ministry confirmed that many victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are still unable to reach them at this time.
