Death toll of Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 72,744 martyrs, 172,588 wounded

GAZA, May 15 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced, on Thursday, that the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 72,744 martyrs and 172,588 wounded since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Strip, the Health Ministry explained that Gaza hospitals received 2 martyrs (a new martyr, a martyr recovered from the rubble) and 24 wounded during the past 48 hours.

It revealed that since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of martyrs killed by Zionist enemy fire has reached 857, the total number of wounded 2,486, and the total number of martyrs recovered 771.

“Many victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them at this moment,” the ministry added.
