Health Ministry: 23 killed, 37 wounded due to Israeli violations in southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, May 11 (YPA) – The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced, on Monday, that the cumulative death toll from the Israeli aggression against Lebanon has risen to 2,869 martyrs and 8,730 wounded since the beginning of the latest Zionist escalation on March 2nd.

In its daily statistical report, the Ministry of Health reported that 23 people were martyred and 37 others were wounded in the past 24 hours.

Since March 2nd, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression against Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian infrastructure, resulting in hundreds of martyrs, thousands of wounded, and the displacement of approximately 1.5 million Lebanese citizens, most of whom are not registered in shelters.

It is noteworthy that the temporary ceasefire agreement came into effect in mid-April, but the Israeli enemy army commits daily violations of the agreement.
