After bloody night, Zionist forces continue ceasefire violations in Gaza

GAZA, May 07 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continues its violations of the ceasefire agreement on its 210th day across various areas of the Gaza Strip, following a bloody night in which 13 Palestinians were killed.

According to Palestinian sources, Israeli military vehicles opened heavy machine-gun fire toward eastern areas of Khan Younis, while artillery shelling simultaneously targeted the eastern part of the city.

In Gaza City, Palestinian sources said Israeli military vehicles fired intensively east of the city.

Israeli artillery also shelled areas north of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

On Wednesday, the Israeli army carried out several attacks across Gaza, killing 13 Palestinians, including the son of senior Hamas official Khalil al-Hayya.

Since the ceasefire began (October 11), the total number of martyrs has reached 837, along with 2,381 injuries, and 769 bodies recovered.

Since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, the total toll has risen to 72,619 martyrs and 172,484 injuries.
