Iranian military official: Forces on full alert, domestic unity is “strongest weapon”

TEHRAN, May 02 (YPA) – Brigadier General Mohammad Jafar Asadi, the inspection commander at the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters, said that the possibility of a resumption of war against Iran still exists, stressing that the unity of the Iranian people is the strongest weapon against threats.

In a statement to the “Defa Press” news agency, he pointed to the complete readiness of the Iranian armed forces to repel any potential attack, criticizing the United States’ policy of not adhering to agreements and seeking to resolve its economic crises, particularly those related to oil.

He added that assessments in Tehran indicate that Washington is in a predicament, whether it resorts to military action or not, and lacks clear solutions. He also stressed that the balance of power had changed after the Al-Aqsa flood operation, which affected the situation of “Israel” and the United States.

Asadi concluded by noting the readiness of Iranian forces to confront any escalation and asserted that the unity of the people and political forces strengthens resilience in the face of challenges.
