HODEIDA, May 02 (YPA) – At least four children were seriously injured today in an explosion caused by remnants of Saudi-led coalition forces’ munitions in Hodeidah province.
According to local sources, the explosion took place in the village of Al-Makimaniya, in the Al-Munafira area of Al-Durayhimi district, leaving four brothers wounded.
They were identified as Amar Omar Yahya 10, Yahya Omar Yahya 9, Juma’ah Omar Yahya, and Hanadi Omar Yahya.
The injured children were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
The sources added that such incidents are part of ongoing risks posed by explosive remnants, which continue to threaten civilians—particularly children—in residential areas and farmlands.
