Palestinian fisherman injured by Israeli occupation fire near Rafah

GAZA, April 30 (YPA) – A Palestinian fisherman was injured on Thursday morning after Israeli navy forces opened fire on a group of fishermen while they were fishing off  the coast of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

The Gaza Emergency and Ambulance Authority said the injury resulted from live fire targeting fishermen during their work in the Al-Mawasi area of Rafah in southern Gaza.

It is worth noting that Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, carrying out artillery and airstrikes and targeting civilians, while also opening fire along the coastal area of Gaza.

The Israeli occupation army has continued its violations of the ceasefire agreement on the 203rd day, across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

Since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of martyrs has reached 818, in addition to 2,301 injuries, while 762 bodies have been recovered,  according to the Health Ministry on Wednesday.
