Zelensky: “Israel’s” purchase of grain “looted from Ukraine” is illegal

KYIV, April 28 (YPA) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has voiced his rejection of entities purchasing grain suspected of being transported from Russian-controlled Ukrainian territories, asserting that such operations “cannot be legitimate.”

Writing on “X,” Zelenskyy revealed that a new vessel carrying this grain arrived at a port in “Israel” to discharge its cargo, emphasizing that Kyiv is preparing measures and sanctions against any parties seeking to benefit from these shipments.

Ukraine summoned the Israeli occupation ambassador following what Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha described as “Israel’s inaction” in allowing the reception of these shipments.

In response, Israeli occupation’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar maintained that Ukraine has provided no evidence to prove the alleged “theft” of the grain or its origin.

These developments come amid repeated accusations from Kyiv against Moscow regarding the transport and sale of agricultural crops from occupied areas since 2022—accusations that Russia consistently denies.
