Two Israeli soldiers injured in southern Lebanon

OCCUPIED QUDS, April 28 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army acknowledged on Tuesday morning that two soldiers, one in serious condition, were wounded when its forces in southern Lebanon were targeted by a booby-trapped drone launched by Hezbollah.

The army stated that it fired an interceptor missile at another drone targeting its forces in the same area.

In remarks to Israeli occupation army radio, an armored brigade commander said that the drone threat in southern Lebanon poses a significant operational challenge to the forces, noting that these weapons have become an integral part of Hezbollah’s tactics.

Another brigade commander serving in southern Lebanon added that confronting these drones is not easy, and that “there is little that can be done” in the face of their advanced capabilities.
