BEIRUT, April 24 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Hezbollah announced on Friday that it had downed an Israeli drone and targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers in southern Lebanon.
In two separate statements, the party said its fighters shot down a Hermes 450 drone over the Tyre–Al-Housh area using a surface-to-air missile.
It also said resistance fighters struck a concentration of occupation troops in the town of Al-Qantara with an explosive drone, claiming a direct hit.
The statement said the operations were carried out in response to what it described as continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire and attacks on civilians, adding that its military actions would continue as long as hostilities persist.
