Israeli occupation soldiers loot homes in southern Lebanon

OCCUPIED QUDS, April 23 (YPA) – Testimonies provided by soldiers in the Israeli occupation army to the Hebrew newspaper “Haaretz” have revealed that the looting of homes and commercial shops in southern Lebanon has transformed into a widespread and systematic behavior.

Reports indicate that Israeli soldiers are looting various properties, including motorcycles, television sets, furniture, and carpets.

According to testimonies, stolen goods are transported openly inside military vehicles when departing Lebanese territory, with no attempt to conceal them.

Soldiers confirmed that field commanders are aware of these actions, noting that leadership limits its response to “formal condemnation” without taking any deterrent measures.

The testimonies attributed the spread of this phenomenon and its evolution into a routine practice to the absence of strict penalties and accountability within the units.

This data reflects a blatant violation of international norms and laws, as the practices of the occupation forces extend beyond military operations to include systematic acts of plunder and looting against the property of Lebanese civilians.
