Iran issues military warning: Our forces are on high alert; do not miscalculate our strength
TEHRAN, April 22 (YPA) – Iran has issued stern military warnings to the United States and “Israel” against any aggression or underestimation of Iran’s military power, affirming that its armed forces are on high alert for any emergency.
In this regard, the Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, confirmed on Wednesday that the Iranian armed forces are on high alert for the comprehensive defense of the country.
In a press statement, Baghaei expressed appreciation for the noble efforts made by Pakistan to mediate an end to the recent “imposed war” and establish peace and security in the region. He noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran was not the initiator of this war; therefore, all its actions align with its inherent right to legitimate self-defense against the military aggression of the United States and the “Zionist entity.”
He emphasized that Iran, while closely monitoring field and political developments, will take necessary and appropriate measures to protect the country’s interests and security, adding: “Our armed forces are on high alert and ready for the comprehensive defense of Islamic Iran against any threat or evil act.”
Referring to the pursuit of American and Zionist aggressors for their crimes and the damages caused during their aggression against the country, Baghaei said: “The Islamic Republic of Iran will utilize every opportunity and capability to hold the aggressors accountable and support Iran’s rights, including implementing justice against the perpetrators and instigators of war crimes and demanding compensation for the damages inflicted on Iran.”
Regarding the possibility of another round of negotiations with the United States, Baghaei stated: “Diplomacy is a tool to ensure national interests and security. We will take the necessary measures whenever we conclude that the essential and logical foundations are available to use this tool to achieve national interests and consolidate the achievements of the Iranian people in thwarting the enemies’ malicious endeavors.”
Commander of Ground Forces: Do Not Miscalculate Our Strength
For his part, the Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Forces, Brigadier General Ali Jahan Shahi, issued a warning to the enemy during an inspection of border areas, saying: “Do Not miscalculate the fighting spirit and capabilities of Iranian fighters.”
According to the Tasnim news agency, Brigadier General Shahi described the readiness of the Ground Force units in defending the country’s borders as “excellent” during this visit. He stated, “In light of this fighting spirit and the epic, inspiring popular support from all segments of the Iranian people for the armed forces, any aggression by the enemy on the country’s land borders will be met with a decisive response that will make them regret their actions.”
The Commander of the Ground Forces reassured the “heroic Iranian people who are always present in the field,” saying, “The country’s borders enjoy security and stability thanks to the deployment of the armed forces, where enemy movements are monitored and analyzed moment by moment. Thanks to the vigilance of the people’s Fedayeen stationed at the borders, any threat targeting the honorable and dear people of Iran will be firmly countered.”
Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters: Our Forces are Fully Ready to Respond to Any Aggression and Teach the Enemies a Harsh Lesson
The spokesperson for the “Khatam al-Anbiya” Air Defense Headquarters confirmed yesterday evening, Tuesday, that the Iranian Armed Forces are in a state of full combat readiness to initiate an immediate response to any aggression or action targeting the security and stability of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Iranian news agencies quoted the spokesperson as saying, “Our forces are in total readiness to launch a powerful and lightning strike on pre-defined targets as soon as any hostile movement against the country is detected.”
The spokesperson stressed that Iranian forces would teach the “aggressor” United States and the “child-killing” Zionist entity a lesson that will be harsher than previous ones, emphasizing that any uncalculated adventure will face a decisive response exceeding the enemies’ expectations.
These statements come amid escalating regional tensions, as Tehran repeatedly asserts that its defensive and missile capabilities are intended for deterrence and the defense of Iranian national sovereignty against any external threats.
