Hamas: Iran’s resilience thwarted US-Israeli objectives

SANAA, April 08 (YPA) – Hamas spokesperson, Hazem Qassem, on Wednesday praised the strong resilience of Iran’s leadership and people, saying it had thwarted the objectives of the “American-Zionist” side during the recent conflict.

In a news statement, Qassem called for greater unity and coordination among regional actors, stressing that the region belongs to its peoples and should be protected from external interference, exploitation of resources, and attempts to alter its identity.

His remarks came as the United States and Iran announced early Wednesday a two-week ceasefire agreement, following 40 days of hostilities between Tehran and Washington, alongside Israeli enemy.
