IRGC’s intelligence chief killed in US-Israeli strikes on Iran

TEHRAN, April 06 (YPA) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) sated on Monday that Major General Majid Khademi, head of its Intelligence Service, was martyred following US and Israeli attacks on Iran.

In a statement cited by Fars News Agency, the IRGC said Khademi had joined the ranks of martyrs of the Zionist-American aggression.

The statement referred to events on February 28, when, according to Iranian sources, the United States and Israeli enemy launched strikes on Iran that caused civilian casualties and damage to public infrastructure.

It added that Iran responded by launching Operation “True Promise 4,” targeting Israeli and US positions in the region.
