In Video: Iranian air defenses down fighter jet over Qeshm Island

TEHRAN, April 03 (YPA) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) released video footage showing its air defense shooting down an advanced enemy fighter jet south of Qeshm Island.

“Following the false claim of the lying US president that the IRGC Air Defense was completely destroyed, moments ago, an advanced enemy fighter jet was hit south of Qeshm Island by the IRGC’s new advanced defense system under the control of the country’s integrated air defense network,” Public Relations of the IRGC said in a statement.

According to the statement, after being hit, this fighter jet crashed in the area between Hengam Island and Qeshm Island and sank into the depths of the Persian Gulf waters.
