Sayyed Al-Houthi highlights unity of Jihad Axis, Yemen’s role in confronting America, Israeli enemy
SANAA, April 02 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement, described the unity of the factions within the axis of jihad and resistance as a noble and significant achievement, aligned with the teachings of the Holy Quran.
In a televised speech on Thursday addressing regional developments, he praised the nation’s solidarity in confronting both the Israeli and American enemies in the region, noting the unprecedented effectiveness and influence of this unity.
Sayyed Al-Houthi emphasized that the entire nation should have united in resisting America, Israeli enemy, and the Zionist agenda.
Referring to Yemen’s role, he stated: “The hand we mentioned previously, the one on the trigger, began this week launching rockets and coordinated operations within the axis of jihad and resistance against the criminal Zionist enemy.” Sayyed al-Houthi underscored that Yemen will not abandon its faith or wisdom in fulfilling its Islamic duty to collectively repel the enemies, adding: “We will not remain idle while the enemy pursues its objectives, nor will we leave the burden entirely on others.”
The movement’s leader stressed that Yemen acts in accordance with shared principles alongside its Islamic brothers, united by the Brotherhood of Islam in confronting a common, overt enemy whose Zionist plans threaten the entire region.
He stated: “We belong to this nation, and from the heart of this nation, faith and wisdom have historically played a pivotal role—from the very core of Islam to the present day.” He emphasized collective action to reunify the nation under the right cause, highlighting the Palestinian issue as the unifying umbrella for the Islamic nation.
Sayyed al-Houthi warned that the Zionist enemy continues its aggression against the Islamic world, particularly the Arab nations, since the occupation of Palestine, describing the Zionists as direct enemies of Islam, the Prophet, the Quran, and Islamic holy sites.
Leader al-Houthi also criticized the nation’s inaction, abdication of responsibility, and the absence of a vision rooted in divine guidance and aligned with the demands of reality and the current stage.
He highlighted the steadfastness and effectiveness of the Islamic Republic of Iran in confronting American and Israeli aggression, noting that Iranian operations, including missile and drone strikes, have successfully targeted U.S. military bases and undermined Israeli military and industrial capabilities. These Iran’s operations have inflicted significant losses on American and Israeli forces while reinforcing political and popular stability in Iran, evidenced by broad support for the leadership, the Revolutionary Guards, and the Iranian army.
