Abu Ubaida calls on resistance in Lebanon to capture Israeli soldiers in response to “execution law”
GAZA, March 31 (YPA) – Abu Ubaida, the spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, has called on the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon to intensify operations to capture Israeli occupation soldiers.
He described this path as the “shortest route” to free Palestinian and Arab prisoners, particularly following the occupation’s approval of the prisoner execution law.
In a statement published on Telegram, Abu Ubaida stated that resistance operations in Lebanon are inflicting mounting losses on the Israeli occupation, praising the recent qualitative operation there. He urged a doubling of efforts to capture soldiers to create leverage for the release of prisoners.
The Al-Qassam spokesperson emphasized that the experience of confrontation has proven that the choice of armed resistance is the most effective in this matter, noting that Gaza has offered a great deal in this context, and calling on Hezbollah to continue the escalation.
In a related context, Abu Ubaida escalated his rhetoric against Israeli occupation policies, asserting that a series of violations require a broader mobilization from the region’s nations and the international community to pressure the occupation. These include the approval of the prisoner execution law, the continued closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the ongoing regional aggressions.
