UN Security Council holds closed-door consultations on Iran

NEW YORK, March 27 (YPA) – The Russian Permanent Mission to the United Nations announced that the UN Security Council will hold closed consultations on the situation in Iran on Friday.

Russian mission spokesman Yevgeny Uspensky said Moscow requested the consultations because of “the ongoing attacks on civilian infrastructure in Iran, including educational and health facilities.”

The US-Israeli aggression against Iran has continued since February 28, targeting residential areas, civilians and infrastructure in the country.
