Israeli occupation forces conduct incursion in southern Syria’s Daraa

DARAA, March 24 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces carried out a new incursion on Saturday into the outskirts of Wadi al-Ruqqad, located in the western countryside of Daraa in southern Syria.

The Syrian Arab News Agency  (SANA) reported that an Israeli military force of six vehicles advanced into Wadi Al-Raqad, on the outskirts of Jamlah village in Al-Yarmouk Basin area in western Daraa countryside.

According to SANA, two vehicles entered Al-Wadi’s military post, while two others established a temporary checkpoint on Al-Wadi road below the post, stopping one passerby before allowing him to continue.

The agency  added that Israeli forces briefly stopped a passerby before allowing him to continue, while two additional vehicles were stationed on a nearby bridge before gradually withdrawing toward the occupied Golan Heights.

Earlier the same day, an Israeli force of 30 soldiers reportedly advanced in the area surrounding the Ruweihina Dam in the northern countryside of Quneitra Governorate.
