Lebanon: 10 killed and 90 injured in Israeli strikes over past 24 hours

BEIRUT, March 24 (YPA) -The Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon announced in an official statement that ten people were killed and 90 others injured as a result of Israeli attacks targeting multiple areas across the country over the past 24 hours. The escalation has been ongoing since the beginning of the month.

According to the statement, the total death toll has risen to 1,039, with approximately 2,900 people wounded since the start of the Israeli aggression on March 2. The figures underscore the growing human toll as military operations continue.

At the same time, Lebanese media reported clashes between fighters from Hezbollah and the Israeli occupation forces in several towns in southern Lebanon. The clashes coincided with intensive Israeli airstrikes targeting wide areas in the south and extending eastward to the Bekaa Valley.

This escalation comes amid ongoing confrontations between the two sides, following Israeli strikes on southern towns and areas in Beirut’s southern suburbs. In response, Hezbollah has launched rocket attacks against Israeli occupation forces, amid escalating regional tensions that threaten to expand the scope of the conflict across the region.
