Hezbollah launches multiple strikes against Israeli positions
BEIRUT, March 21 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, said it conducted multiple operations early Saturday, firing rockets and artillery at Israeli military positions and troop gatherings along the border.
In a series of statements released on March 21, 2026, the group detailed four consecutive strikes carried out in defense of Lebanese territory and its people, amidst the ongoing Israeli aggression against the country.
The operations unfolded in the early hours of Saturday as follows:
At 02:05, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the “Filon” base south of “Rosh Pinna” with a rocket barrage.
At 10:45, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of “Israeli” enemy army soldiers in the vicinity of the “Khiam detention center” with a rocket barrage.
At 09:30, the Islamic Resistance fighters clashed with an “Israeli” force that attempted to advance from the Al-Tabasine area towards the municipality building of the town of Naqoura using light and medium weapons, achieving direct hits.
At 02:30, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of “Israeli” enemy soldiers and vehicles at the “Al-Marj” site opposite the border town of Markaba with a rocket barrage.
At 06:20, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of “Israeli” enemy army soldiers and vehicles in Khallet Al-Aqsa in the outskirts of the border town of Odeissah with a qualitative missile.
At 06:30, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of “Israeli” enemy army soldiers and vehicles in the Al-Taybeh project with a qualitative missile.
The Islamic Resistance fighters have been engaged since 10:00 AM on Saturday, in direct clashes with the forces of the “Israeli” enemy army in the city of Khiam, using light and medium weapons and rocket-propelled grenades. The clashes are still ongoing as of the time this statement was issued.
At 12:20, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of “Israeli” enemy army soldiers at the “Haghibat Al-Ajal” site north of the “Kfar Yuval” settlement with a rocket barrage.
At 12:20, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted, a gathering of “Israeli” enemy army soldiers in the “Metulla” settlement with a rocket barrage.
At 12:15, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of the “Israeli” enemy army soldiers and vehicles in the Taybeh project with a rocket barrage.
At 12:45, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of “Israeli” enemy soldiers and vehicles in the eastern neighborhood of the city of Khiam with a rocket barrage.
At 01:00, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of “Israeli” enemy army soldiers at the newly established site at “Namr Al-Jamal” opposite the border town of Alma Al-Shaab with an attack drone, achieving direct hits.
At 01:00, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of “Israeli” enemy army soldiers at the newly established “Blat” site in southern Lebanon with an attack drone, and achieved direct hits.
The clashes being waged by the Islamic Resistance fighters in the city of Khiam have been ongoing since 10:00 AM on Saturday, in the Al-Jalahiya neighborhood and the eastern neighborhood of the city, using light and medium weapons and rocket shells.
At 1:00 PM, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of “Israeli” enemy soldiers east of the town of Naqoura with rocket barrages and artillery shells.
