Israeli occupation forces penetrate to Syrian Quneitra countryside

DAMASCUS, March. 17 (YPA) – An Israeli military force carried out a field incursion on the outskirts of Razaniyah farm near the village of Saida in the Golan Heights of Quneitra countryside, on the administrative border with the occupied Syrian Golan.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Monday evening that members of Israeli patrol crossed the ceasefire line and forced shepherds in the area to leave their lands at gunpoint, preventing them from approaching or grazing their flocks.

This sparked tension among residents of the border villages who depend on livestock for their livelihood.

In a related context, the Syrian Observatory had previously reported that occupation forces established a checkpoint between the villages of Ain Dhakar and al-Muqraz in the western Daraa countryside, with no information received about any arrests of civilians.
