Four Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrike on central Gaza Strip

GAZA, March 15 (YPA) – At least four Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Sunday morning in Israeli airstrikes targeting areas in central  Gaza Strip.

According to Palestinian sources, ambulance and civil defense teams recovered the bodies of four people killed in an Israeli airstrike. The victims were identified as Kamel Ayyash (Abu Ahmad), his wife Halima Ayyash, their son Ahmad Kamel Ayyash, and Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Hasanat.

They all were killed when Israeli warplanes bombed a gathering of civilians in the al-Sawarha area west of Nuseirat refugee camp.

Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement that came into effect in October last year.

The truce, brokered by the United States, Egypt, and Qatar, has been repeatedly breached, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries, as well as the destruction of dozens of residential homes both inside and outside areas known as the “Yellow Line.”

With the killing of the four Palestinians, the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli attacks since the start of the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 663, while more than 1,754 people have been injured. In addition, 756 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble during the same period, according to the sources.
