Gaza: Death toll from Israeli aggression rises to 72,234

GAZA, March 14 (YPA) – The death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip rose on Saturday to 72,234, with 171,852 people injured since the start of the Israeli aggression in October 2023, Gaza Health Ministry said in its daily report.

According to the report, seven more Palestinians were killed and 13 wounded and were later admitted to hospitals across Gaza over the past 24 hours.

Since the ceasefire agreement went into effect at noon on 10 October 2025, the occupation forces have killed at least 658 Palestinians and injured 1,754 others, the ministry added.  The bodies of 756 Palestinians have been retrieved over the same period.

According to the ministry, thousands of victims remain trapped under collapsed buildings or on the streets. However, emergency responders are struggling to reach them due to a lack of essential equipment for debris removal and rescue operations.
