Sanaa: Central Bank issues important statement regarding salary payments

SANAA, March 11 (YPA) – The Central Bank of Yemen in Sanaa announced on Wednesday the commencement of salary payments for employees of state administrative units for January 2026, in accordance with the temporary exceptional mechanism to support the state employee payroll.

In its announcement issued today, Monday, the bank clarified that the payments will begin tomorrow, Thursday, the 23rd of Ramadan 1447 AH (March 12, 2026), through the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank (CAC Bank) and the General Authority for Post and Postal Savings.
