Hamas welcomes Spain’s decision to withdraw ambassador from Israeli entity

GAZA, March 11 (YPA) – Hamas Movement welcomed on Wednesday the Spanish government’s decision to withdraw its ambassador from Israeli entity and reduce its diplomatic representation.

In a press statement, Hamas said the decision reflected the Spanish government’s and people’s continued opposition to genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, as well as their rejection of alleged violations of international law by Israel enemy.

The movement described the move as “a noble position that reflects a genuine commitment to human values.”

Hamas added that while it highly appreciated what it called Spain’s courageous stance, it renewed its call on countries around the world to sever all forms of relations with Israel enemy and to exert pressure on it to stop what it described as ongoing crimes and aggression against the Palestinian people and the peoples of the region.
