OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, March. 11 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued, on Wednesday, in a dangerous precedent for the 12th consecutive day, to close the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, during the last ten days of Ramadan, the most blessed days of the month, when hundreds of thousands from all over Palestine are observing Itikaf in a majestic scene.
This comes amidst calls for the occupation to lift the declared state of emergency and allow worshippers to pray.
The Israeli occupation authorities have continued to completely close Al-Aqsa Mosque since the start of the Israeli-American war on Iran on February 28th, justifying this by declaring a “state of emergency and public safety.”
However, Jerusalemites confirm that these measures are applied only to Al-Aqsa Mosque, while life continues normally in the rest of the city, including markets and public areas, while settlers in Jerusalem celebrate the Purim holiday with virtually no restrictions.
