Important statement issued by Iranian Embassy in Qatar

DOHA, March 07 (YPA) – The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Doha denied on Saturday evening the news circulating about the Qatari authorities giving embassy members a week to leave the country.

The Iranian Embassy in Doha issued a statement clarifying that, following the spread of rumors in several media outlets and social media networks regarding the embassy in Qatar, reports circulating about the Qatari government giving embassy staff a week to leave the country are completely unfounded and baseless, according to the Iranian news agency Tasnim.

The statement added that spreading such rumors and false news aims to create confusion in public opinion and harm the brotherly relations between the two countries.
