Iran’s President: Targeting patients, children is flagrant violation of humanitarian principles
TEHRAN, March 02 (YPA) – Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian said Monday evening that targeting the patients and children constitutes a blatant violation of humanitarian principles.
In a post on the platform X, he stated, “Attacks on hospitals strike at life itself, and attacks on schools target the future of the nation.”
Pezeshkian added, “Targeting patients and children is a flagrant violation of humanitarian principles. The world must condemn this.”
“I stand with my grieving nation. Iran will not remain silent and will not submit to these crimes,” he said.
On Saturday, the United States and what he referred to the Zionist entity launched a new wave of attacks against Iran, reportedly killing hundreds of civilians and targeting the country’s capabilities.
In response, Iran announced the launch of Operation “Sincere Promise 4” against Israeli targets and American bases in the region.
