Larijani: We will not negotiate with Washington

TEHRAN, March 02 (YPA) – Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani, said on Monday that US President Donald Trump dragged  the region into chaos with false ambitions.

“We will not negotiate with the United States,” Larijani wrote on X, dismissing reports that it is seeking to restart negotiations with Washington.

“Trump dragged the region into chaos and now worry about more US losses,” Larijani said.

He added Iran is on the defensive. “Our armed forces did not initiate the attack.”

Larijani also accused Trump of turning “America First” into “Israel First,” telling US soldiers are paying the price.

Earlier, The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) of Iran, launched wide-scale attacks on “Israel” and US bases in the region in response to the killing of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

On Saturday, February 28, 2026, the US and Israeli enemy reportedly carried out a joint surprise strike on around 500 sites in Iran, including air defenses and missile platforms, according to the Israeli occupation army.
