Sayyed Al-Houthi offers condolences to Iranians on Khamenei’s martyrdom, vows to continue resistance

SANAA, March 01 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen Ansarullah movement, extended his deepest condolences over the martyrdom of the leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, Ali al-Husseini Khamenei, who was assassinated in the Saturday attack by the United States and Israel enemy.

In a televised address, al-Houthi described the killing as a direct assault on a prominent religious and political figure known for opposing U.S. and Israeli influence and for backing the Palestinian cause.

He asserted that the aggression against Iran is intended to enable Israeli enemy to expand its regional dominance by removing what he called the “greatest obstacle” to that objective.

He conveyed his condolences to Khamenei’s family, the Iranian people, state institutions, the Revolutionary Guards, and the broader Islamic nation, describing his death as a “major loss for the Islamic world.”

Sayyed Al-Houthi said the assassination was aimed at breaking Iran’s resolve and weakening its regional role.

He added that Iran’s response remains “strong and ongoing,” and that what he termed the axis of resistance would stay the course.

The movement’s leader urged the region’s peoples to remain steadfast in confronting what he described as American and Israeli tyranny, maintaining that the incident would not alter the trajectory of the confrontation or what he characterized as Israeli enemy’s eventual demise.
