SAADA, Feb. 25 (YPA) – The Saudi army, on Tuesday, continued its attacks at Yemen’s border areas, which resulted in the death of a child and wounding four citizens in Saada province.
In a statement, Security of Saada governorate explained that the child Ahmed Makhld, 12 years old, was killed due to explosion of a cluster bomb of war’s remnants left by Saudi army in Bani Sayyah area of border Shada district.
The statement noted that a civilian and an African migrant was injured seriously, when the Saudi border guards opened fire at them in the same district, while two African migrants were wounded as a result of Saudi artillery bombardment at Baqim district.
In addition, the statement stated that Bayoudh area of border Dhahir district was bombarded, but no casualties were recorded.
It pointed out that all the injured were rescued and transferred to health facilities to receive treatment, stressing that these attacks represent a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms.
