Israeli occupation airstrikes continue across Gaza on 5th day of Ramadan

GAZA, Feb. 22 (YPA) – Israeli occupation aircraft continued their bombardment of the Gaza Strip this Sunday, marking the fifth day of the holy month of Ramadan.

At dawn, the occupation warplanes launched a series of raids targeting the city of Rafah in the south and eastern parts of Gaza City.

Intensive artillery shelling and heavy gunfire from occupation vehicles targeted the eastern areas of the Al-Bureij camp, Gaza City, and Khan Yunis.

According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza on Saturday, the total toll since the collapse of the ceasefire has reached 612 martyrs, 1,640 wounded and 726 bodies recovered.

These military operations coincide with worsening humanitarian suffering across the Strip, as the occupation army continues to violate the terms previously set in the ceasefire agreement.
