Zionist forces continue to violate ceasefire for 129th day across Gaza

GAZA, Feb. 16 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continues its violations of the ceasefire agreement for the 129th consecutive day across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to Palestinian sources, several civilians were injured last night after Israeli military vehicles opened fire toward the Al-Maslakh area, west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, in new violations of the ceasefire.

At dawn, Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire on Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

Israeli naval boats also opened machine-gun fire toward the sea off Gaza City.

Simultaneously, Israeli occupation  forces fired gunshots and shelled areas east of Al-Bureij refugee camp and east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.

In the south, intermittent artillery shelling continued north of Rafah and southeast of Khan Younis.

Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, the total number of martyrs has reached 601, in addition to 1,607 injured, and 726 recovered bodies.

Since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, the death toll has risen to 72,061 martyrs and 171,715 wounded.
